Mark of Achievement

Inclusion requires a whole setting approach. The Dingley’s Promise Mark of Achievement is designed to upskill your team by developing knowledge in key areas which will enhance the inclusive practice within your setting. To be eligible for the Dingley’s Promise Mark of Achievement Award, the following criteria must be met:
Settings with a total of 4 practitioners or more (including childminders with assistants):
- 75% will have undertaken the ‘Introduction to Early Years Inclusive Practice’ course plus a minimum of two additional courses of their choice. Part-time staff should be included within your total, and we would recommend that the full range of courses is covered across large staff teams.
Settings with a total of less than 4 practitioners:
- The lead practitioner will have completed the ‘Introduction to Early Years Inclusive Practice’ course and two additional courses of their choice.
For Ofsted registered early years providers, EYFS teams in schools, Children’s Centre and Family Hub teams, the following additional criteria must also be met:
- The Manager and/or Inclusion Lead will complete an online module consisting of two units, with reflective questions and activities to complete in collaboration with their staff team.
