SEND Reform Engagement Events

For parents and carers of children with SEND in the early years

On Monday 23rd February, the Department for Education published its schools white paper Every Child Achieving and Thriving which shares its plan to reform special educational needs and disability (SEND) support in early years, schools and colleges. Alongside the White Paper is a national consultation called putting children and young people first, running until 18th May 2026.

As early years SEND specialists, Dingley’s Promise would like to invite parents of children with SEND under 8 years of age to share their experiences of the early years and feedback on the consultation through a face-to-face event, covering the key questions raised and giving you the chance to have your voice heard.

Places are limited and we welcome you to sign up for your local event below. Once signed up, you will receive more information about the event agenda and location details.

Whether you are able to attend the face to face discussion or not, we hope as many of you as possible will be able to respond to the consultation directly to ensure your voice is heard.
